TextOS includes third-party open-source software and Linux packages. This page is the public source-information route referenced by the app.

Release review is still in progress for several packaged components. This page should remain accurate and conservative until the final source bundles and notices are published.

For source-code requests related to covered open-source components included with TextOS, contact support through textos.chat/support. Please include the TextOS app version, component name if known, and the source material you are requesting.

Covered areas under review

Current release-prep materials identify source and notice work for the Ubuntu rootfs package set, modified PRoot binaries, packaged Dropbear, Python package closure, Android dependencies, fonts/assets, CivetWeb, OpenSSH SFTP server, and TextOS-owned native support shims.
