TextOS license texts
This page collects the short license-text entry points available in the MVP package. Some full package copyright files are stored inside Ubuntu packages or rootfs package metadata and still need a final export bundle.

MIT License family
CivetWeb v1.16 is documented as MIT licensed in webdesk-civetweb.PROVENANCE.txt. MIT-family text generally grants use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies, provided that copyright and permission notices are included.
OpenSSH permissive notices
The OpenSSH SFTP payload includes bundled copyright metadata at openssh-sftp-server.COPYRIGHT.txt. The packaged metadata describes the overall OpenSSH license as BSD-3-clause or less restrictive licenses, with Debian packaging under BSD-2-clause.
Apache-2.0
Network OpenSSL package metadata and the audited OpenAI Codex/Python SDK metadata include Apache-2.0 components. Apache-2.0 notices and any NOTICE files should be included in the final store/source bundle.
Python / PSF
The Python Chat Pack uses Python 3.12 packages and typing-extensions metadata marked PSF-2.0. The final notices should include Python's bundled incorporated-software notices, not only the headline PSF license.
SIL Open Font License 1.1
The DSEG font license is bundled as DSEG-LICENSE.txt. Other bundled font files need local license/provenance files or replacement before public release; see the font provenance TODO in the release-prep docs.
GPL/LGPL/copyleft package notices
The Ubuntu Base rootfs, Network Base package metadata, Python package closure, and PRoot include GPL-family or LGPL/copyleft review items. The previous advanced-key SSH Termux-auth library is not shipped in this MVP candidate. See the source offer page and inventory for follow-up obligations.
